Current processing time is up to 5 business days once payment has cleared. 

SHIPPING

All displayed yarn is hand-dyed and ships from Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.

Upon placing order, a confirmation email will be sent to your email provided at the checkout.  If you do not receive an order confirmation email, please check the email address associated with your order, check your Spam/Trash folder as your email service provider may have automatically moved it to this folder.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive automated email confirmation with a postal tracking number. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose. 

Please visit the website of shipping carrier to learn more about estimated delivery times to different regions. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.  I am not responsible for delays due to customs. 

Please note that I cannot mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” – US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

Once the parcel ships and has been handed to post office, it is no longer in my control.  I am not responsible for shipping errors based on incorrect delivery information caused by customer nor costs or damage related to these errors. 

Orders shipped within U.S. have currently following shipping options: USPS Ground Advantage (former First Class) – insured, or Priority shipping (any weight, insured).  Alternatively, you can select UPS shipping option if offered as a shipping option to your location.

Sock Obsession Yarns cannot reimburse orders that were misdelivered by the post office or stolen from your property, thank you for understanding.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Custom orders are not available at this time.

We do not offer preorders (Advent calendars, etc) at this time.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND CANCELATIONS

Cancelations are not accepted at this time. 

Returns of non-defective items are not accepted at this time.

If you are not fully satisfied with the yarn, please contact me within 5 days of delivery.

Forced returns are not accepted and the  parcel will be rejected (mailed back to sender) without prior authorization.

After you have contacted me regarding the return or exchange, items must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery. Once item is returned in resellable condition, a store credit will be issued for the cost of the item. 

Shipping cost cannot be refunded, as it has been paid to 3rd party (USPS).

Yarn has to be returned in its original condition – in the original hank, clean and without any signs of use. Yarn re-skeined or that has been wound into a ball/cake is not returnable.

All clearance sales are final and not returnable.

COLOR DISCLAIMER

Actual product colors may vary from colors shown on your monitor. I try to edit the photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual color may vary slightly from your monitor. I cannot guarantee that the colors you see accurately portrays the true colors of the product. 

Please note that color darkness or shades may vary based on viewing device settings. If you are unsure about the displayed photos, please contact me.

I will only use your shipping and billing address and contact information to communicate with you about your order, to fulfill your order and for legal reasons only (such as paying taxes).

GENERAL INFORMATION

All items in the store are ready to ship.

Please understand that due to high volume of orders I am unable to wind yarn for you into cakes at this time. Orders will be shipped in form of twisted hanks as displayed in the listing’s product images. 

Please note: each listing in online store is for one (1) hank of displayed colorway. More information about yardage, weight, fiber content etc. is specified in the tab ‘Item Details’ of each product listing. 

Yarn is usually dyed in batches of 3 or 4 hanks. If you order multiple hanks of same colorway, I will do my best to match the hanks within one batch but please also understand that it is not always doable. Please keep in mind that hand dyed yarns can look differently also within same batch. For best results I always recommend to alternate the hanks in same project.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

All yarns in my store are dyed with acid dyes, rinsed until all excess dye washes out. The dyes are colorfast.

However, washing yarns in temperature above 100 F (37 C) will cause dye to bleed. For best results, hand wash or machine wash on delicate setting, lay flat to dry or block. For blocking your finished project I recommend using interlocking blocking mats and blocking pins.

Do not use regular laundry detergent or fabric softener on hand dyed yarns, as these products will cause dye to bleed and disrupt structure of fine fiber. To increase the lifespan of hand dyed yarns, please use only detergents for fine fibers (e.g. Eucalan, Soak and similar).

GIFT CARDS

 All gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. 

Gift cards will be delivered electronically to the buyer’s e-mail as specified on the payment within 24 hours of cleared payment.

Sock Obsession Yarns is not responsible for lost gift cards or gift cards used without your permission. 

Gift cards have no expiration date.
